Now is the time to start planning the WHOLE school year... Logan will be in 4th grade, Garrett will be in 2nd grade and Hunter will be at Suzi school!! (We love Hunter's Suzi)
Logan is starting flag football on Monday and is very excited about it... Logan and sports go hand and hand. He is already starting to practice non-stop for some of the positions he wants to play. Quarterback, receiver and running back. Good thing he is quick, for the size of his mommy and daddy, he at least has that going for him. He is also a very talented athlete with a hard work ethic. It is really great to see his improvements and growth over the past few years. He is a perfectionist and practices everything until nearly perfect.
Garrett will be waiting for basketball season to start. The flag football league is for 3rd grade and up. He has not shown an interest in any other sport, so he is playing catch with Logan, shooting hoops, and his best sport -- bugging his brother, Hunter!! Garrett is growing up too fast for his own britches. He wants to play with his friends till the cows come home... oopps, we don't have any cows, but it is dark -- so it is now bedtime... He doesn't want to go to bed. But, in the end, when his head hits the pillow... 1, 2, 3, and he is fast asleep. Even with Hunter crying that he is not tired in the same room!!
Hunter and his 4-weeeeler is a sight to see. Have you seen a 3 year old run the slalom?
He is an awesome driver. AND hilarious... "Yah Baby!!" he screams this at all his narrow misses of trees, kids, cars, house, mom, dad, and anything else that gets close to him. Today, he was running full speed (5 mph) and rammed his front end loader (that Jack Grizzard had just got off of).. He turned around to me and yelled, "Yah Baby!!" and threw his arms into the air. All this time he is still heading full speed ahead, pushing the tractor sideways. This kid will be the next champion driver or demolishon derby driver.
Well, it is time for me to get some work done...
